Ningbo Hopes Import and Export Co., Ltd. operates the DUPOW website and is responsible for deciding how website and enquiry information is used.

2. Information we handle
Website delivery and security
Like most websites, our hosting service processes technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include IP address, request time, requested page or file, referring page, browser or device information, and response status.
Product shortlist and website enquiries
The product families you add to the enquiry list are saved in your browser so the shortlist can continue across pages. When you select “Send inquiry,” the website securely transmits your name, business email, company if provided, requirements, optional order details and selected product references to our server. The server validates the request and sends it to ivan@dupowtools.com through Tencent Enterprise Mail. The website does not create a public account or profile from the form.
When you request the product catalogue, the website securely transmits the name, business email, country or market, product interest and company information you choose to provide. Limited campaign context—entry page, referring domain and supplied UTM labels—may be included with the request so DUPOW can understand where the business enquiry originated. Query strings, advertising click identifiers and unrelated browsing history are not included.
The separate WhatsApp link opens WhatsApp without sending a message automatically. Information is shared with WhatsApp only if you continue in that external service.
Messages you choose to send
If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive the contact details, company information, product interests and message content you provide. We use it to respond, prepare quotations, assess product or compliance requirements, and manage a potential or existing business relationship.
3. Optional website analytics
Analytics are off until you select “Allow anonymous analytics.” If allowed, we use PostHog US Cloud to understand overall website use. We may collect page views, product or category viewed, approximate country or region derived from the network connection, referring website, browser/device type, and limited actions such as opening or submitting an enquiry or selecting a WhatsApp link.
We do not send enquiry form contents, names, email addresses or typed search terms to PostHog. We record search length only, not the words entered. Automatic click capture, advertising tracking and session recording are disabled. URL query strings and fragments are removed before analytics events are sent.
A random browser identifier is used only after consent so visits can be counted more accurately. We do not use PostHog to identify individual visitors or build advertising profiles.
Refusing analytics does not limit website access. Use “Privacy settings” in any page footer to allow, refuse or withdraw analytics permission at any time.

5. Why we use information
- To deliver, maintain and secure the website.
- To remember product selections requested by the visitor.
- With permission, to measure website reach and improve product information and enquiry journeys.
- To answer enquiries, prepare business proposals and take steps toward a commercial relationship.
- To meet legal, accounting, export-control or dispute-resolution obligations where applicable.
Where consent laws apply, optional analytics rely on your consent. Website security and ordinary B2B communication are handled for legitimate operational interests, to respond to your request, or to take steps toward a contract, as applicable.
7. How long information is kept
Server access logs are rotated daily with 14 archived rotations under the current hosting configuration. The enquiry service does not write form contents to its application logs or a website database. After successful delivery, the message is retained in our business mailbox and related records only as long as needed for the enquiry or relationship and for applicable legal, accounting or dispute requirements. Analytics records are kept only for website measurement and are reviewed periodically.
8. Your choices and rights
You can refuse or withdraw analytics permission at any time without affecting access to the site. Browser settings can also remove cookies and local storage, including the product shortlist and temporary catalogue-request attribution.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask whether we hold information about you, request access or correction, request deletion or restriction, object to certain uses, receive a portable copy, or complain to a local data protection authority. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions.
9. Security and updates
We use HTTPS, encrypted SMTP delivery, restricted administrative access, form validation, request-rate controls, security response headers, limited analytics collection and routine log rotation. No internet service is risk-free, but we take proportionate steps to protect information.
We may update this notice when the website, providers or legal requirements change. The revised date will appear at the top of this page.
